New Motivation Master Class “Going for Goals”

 

Derek Redmond, one of Britain’s greatest 400m runners, delivered the opening key note speech at the 2009 PE and Sports Teachers Summer School. His motivational speech explored success, team work, goal setting and gave a real behind the scenes insight into the life of a world class athlete. The speech was uplifting, inspirational and at one time nearly brought many of the teachers in the audience to tears!  

Derek Redmond has recently teamed up with the President of the Magic Club of Great Britain - Eugene Matthias – to produce a very special and unique motivational Master class Show for school children which ticks both Educational and social boxes for:

· SEAL

· School Sports

· Healthy Schools

· Gifted and Talented

· Every child Matters

The day starts with a Motivational Magic Show by Eugene Matthias which is followed by a motivational speech from Derek Redmond. The afternoon then consists of a sporting event and ends with a presentation of awards from Derek Redmond.

Many schools have already hosted this motivational master class and their testimonials clearly articulate what a valuable, worthwhile and exciting experience it is for both children and staff.
